(i) Adam Raoof gives details at his Chess England site of the many and varied events he runs, including the regular Hampstead Congresses, which are two-day five-round FIDE-rated Under-2200 and Under-1900 tournaments, as well as the monthly Golders Green Rapidplay tournaments.
(ii) The Fifth Witney Congress will be on the weekend of Saturday & Sunday 21 & 22 October 2017. I encourage you to support this second Oxfordshire weekend congress. It will, I hope, be of special interest to Oxfordshire players because the results of the top sections at Witney next October and at Kidlington the following February will determine who will be the Oxfordshire Individual Chess Champion of 2017-18. The title and trophy will go to the eligible player with the highest combined score in the Open sections of the two events.
